Major champion of Carnaval Carioca, Portela will pay tribute to Milton Nascimento, one of the biggest names of Brazilian music in 2025. The club will present in Passarela do Samba the plot "Cantar will be to seek the path that will take in the sun - A tribute to Milton Nascimento", developed by André Rodrigues and Antônio Gonzaga. To celebrate the life of Bituca and the history of the School of Samba, Teresa Cristina, the Old Guard of Portela and special guests will perform an unprecedented show in Vivo Rio, with a repertoire that mixes classic Portelenses and successes of the honored.
In this journey, Teresa Cristina gathers the Old Guard and special appearances to interpret compositions of Milton Nascimento, the first artist still honored in life by the School. The show will also include the new samba-enredo and, of course, unforgettable works such as "From the Wonders of the Sea, Made the Splendor of One Night", champion of 1981, as well as emblematic songs by Paulinho da Viola, Candeia, Zé Keti, Clara Nunes and Monarcho.
