Ney Matogrosso closes tour “85 Years of Ousadia” on Maracanã; tickets start to be sold today

One of the biggest names of our song, Ney Matogrosso chose Rio to close the tour “85 Years of Uusadia”, in December 2027, with a presentation at the Stadium of Maracanã. The date marks the end of the national mega tour, which celebrates the artist's 85 years and passes through great stadiums and arenas of the country over the next year. The sale of tickets for this meeting begins on Monday (31/08).

The tour is scheduled for January 2027, in São Paulo. From there, Ney travels different Brazilian cities until arriving in Rio, where he performs the last show of the series.

About the tour

The project “85 Years of Ousadia” proposes a celebration of its artistic trajectory of Ney Matogrosso without assuming a nostalgic or farewell character of the stages. The show was designed to highlight the vitality of the singer and performer, in addition to revisiting a repertoire built over decades of career.

For the new tour, Ney presents unpublished costumes inspired by striking pieces of her trajectory. The proposal also maintains the artist's relationship with aesthetic and visual experimentation, a characteristic present at different moments of his career.

The visual identity of the project is signed by American photographer David LaChapelle, known for surrealist language works and photographing great names of international pop culture, such as Madonna and Elton John. The partnership reinforces the visual character of the tour and Ney's relationship with different forms of artistic expression.

With the end scheduled for December 2027, the show at Maracanã places Rio de Janeiro as the final destination of one of the main national tours scheduled for the period. The stadium, stage of major sporting, cultural and musical events, welcomes the artist in a presentation that brings together different generations of his audience.
