Samba lovers already have plans for next Friday, the 13th. The traditional Casarão do Firmino, at Lapa, will be the stage of the unmissable Samba do Milton Cunha, from 18h.
Samba lovers already have plans for next Friday, the 13th. The traditional Casarão do Firmino, at Lapa, will be the stage of the unmissable Samba do Milton Cunha From 6:00.
The night will be unforgettable, with the presentation of the group The Handles of Samba, composed by the talented interpreters Tinga (United of Vila Isabel), Bruno Ribas (United Father Miguel), Marquinho Art Samba (First Hose Station), Wantuir (United of the Stone Port) and Port Serginho (Status of Sá). The event will also feature the vibrant "Surdo One" Battery of Mangueira, Margarete Mendes's outstanding voice, the performance of APASB/ABAC Passers (Associação de Passistas de Samba no Pé do Brasil) and a surprise guest who promises to delight everyone.
In the breaks, DJ Nicolle Neumann guarantees animation with a special selection of hits. The entrance is collaborative: contribute as much as you can or just enjoy the party.
Known as the "Samba Palace", Casarão do Firmino, located in the Lapa, between the Center and the south of Rio, is famous for its traditional samba wheels that attract great names of music, people from various places and international tourists, celebrating the best of Rio's culture.
