The organization of the Rock in Rio revealed new information about the New Dance Order stage, a space dedicated exclusively to electronic music, which comes back with full strength in the next edition of the festival in September. With the concept “Dancing for a better world” (“Dancing for a better world”), in the organizers’ view, the stage bets on electronic music as a language capable of connecting people through collective energy and shared experience on the track. The idea is to turn the track into a meeting point where different styles.

In all, 29 attractions will be distributed between days 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 September. Among the top confirmed names are Steve Angello, James Hype, MEDUZA, Fatboy Slim, Alok and John Summit. The curatorship also bets on unpublished encounters and rising names, expanding the spectrum of dance music within the festival.

One of the highlights of the program is the Brazilian Alok, headliner of September 12. The artist promises a double participation in the event: in addition to the set at the New Dance Order with the project “Rave The World”, he also goes up to the Stage World the day before, with distinct presentations designed especially for each environment.

The stage programming includes different aspects of electronic music, with names such as Cat Dealers, Victor Lou, Liu, Sofi Tukker, ANNA, Bhaskar, Illusionize and other artists passing through the house, techno, bass and experimental strands. Last week, the organization of Rock in Rio confirmed that general sale Tickets start on May 26th, at noon, by Ticketmaster Brazil. The values are R$ 870 (integer), R$ 435 (half-entry) and R$ 739.50 for Itaú customers, without service fee.

Each number can purchase up to four tickets per day, with a half-entry limit. Persons with disabilities are entitled to an additional entrance for a companion. The pre-sale, exclusive to Itaú customers and members of the Rock in Rio Club, begins on May 19.
