River New Year 2026 the biggest turn in the world

The biggest turn in the world promises to be an unforgettable celebration. With more than 70 musical attractions grandioses that will thrill cariocas and tourists, the party will bring a unique combination of music, art and culture, turning the city into a great stage of joy and vibration. The Rio riverside, with its traditional fireworks shows and live performances, will be the epicenter of this monumental festival, while Rio’s parks and other tourist spots add to the event, further expanding the magic of this historic turn.

The event will feature 20 sound towers distributed across the edge and three stages, which will vibrate to the sound of different musical rhythms. With the largest line-up in the history of Réveillon, programming promises innovation, diversity and unprecedented technological experiences.

O Rio Stage, located opposite the Hotel Copacabana Palace, will be the center of the celebration, exalting the diversity of Brazilian music. A DJ Cady Opens the night and controls the sound during the breaks of the shows. Among the attractions, Gilberto Gil rises to the stage in a special presentation, with the participation of Ney Matogrosso In an unprecedented encounter.

At the moment of the turn, João Gomes makes his debut at Réveillon of Copacabana, taking the wink to the sands of Princesinha do Mar. The singer Iza will be invited by the artist and promises to animate the audience with its great successes. From 1:40, Alok takes the stage with an unforgettable set, while the current champion of the Carnaval, G.R.E.S. Kiss-Flor It completes the night by taking samba to the celebration of the New Year.

The Samba Amstel Stage, located at the time of Republic of Peru Street in front of the Posto 6, will be the meeting place of samba lovers. Programming begins with DJ Tamy, responsible for opening the night and cheering the audience at the intervals between the shows. Then they go up to the stage Roberta Sá, Mart’nalia, Diogo Nogueira and Feyjão invites Black Block, bringing together different generations of samba carioca. A G.R.E.S. Academics of the Greater Rio closes the stage schedule.

O Stage Banco do Brasil Leme, located at the time of Anchieta Street in front of the Leme Fort, returns to the programming bringing gospel rhythm to the edge. Other than DJ Marcelo Araújo, which opens the night with sets that unite electronic music and messages of faith, the stage receives shows of Midian Lima, Samuel Messiah, Thalles Roberto and the gospel pagoda group Marked.

In addition to all parties, the expectation is that the programming attracts an audience of 5 million to venues. In addition to official programming, in the Southwest Zone, hotels and malls promise to carry out fires in 12 points from Barra and Recreio.

The party in the parks!

With 13 stages distributed throughout the city, the carioca parks will be great protagonists in the turn, consolidating themselves as legacies for Rio's entertainment and receiving shows to celebrate the coming year.

Fire show

The great fireworks show that will illuminate the sky of Copacabana will have 12 minutes duration, with 19 ferries at sea, almost twice 2025, creating a breathtaking scenario.

The public will be able to follow unpublished drawings in fireworks and a drone show that will symbolize the arrival of the future, all packed with a soundtrack composed especially for the party. This moment will undoubtedly be the culmination of a night that marks the most spectacular turn in the world! In addition to Copacabana, Flamengo, Penha (Penha Church) and Barra da Tijuca (in partnership with hotels) will also have pyrotechnic shows. At Flamengo Beach, there will be 3 fireworks at sea.

Drone show

For the first time, Réveillon of Copacabana will have new visual dimensions, combining even more technology, new creations and emotion. A drone show will be part of the celebration, with images synchronized to light flights and a special soundtrack signed by Alok, 1:40 a.m.. The biggest drone show in Latin America!
