Cidade do Samba receives the Night of the Enredos 2027

The Independent League of Samba Schools of Rio de Janeiro (LIESA) holds, on August 7, Friday, from 19h, at Cidade do Samba, the traditional Night of the Enredos.

With free admission, by donation of 1 kg of non-perishable food, the public will be able to follow the presentation of the 12 schools of the Special Group, who will come to the stage to reveal details of the plots with which the title of the Carnaval 2027 will be disputed.

The opening night will be on account of the female group Samba That They They want one of the main female samba collectives of today. The heat will cheer the audience up before the concerts. The program will also feature the presence of Sambists and personalities linked to the universe of the greatest spectacle on Earth. During the party, the schools and their artists perform in a playful way, giving the audience a taste of what comes around in the Carnaval season.

Traditional in the carnival calendar until the beginning of the 2000s, when it was held in a format aimed at the guests of the associations, the event was remodeled in 2025 and was opened to the public in the Cidade do Samba.
