In 2025, the celebrations of Réveillon promoted by Prefeitura do Rio, through Riotur, will be held in the most diverse regions of the city. In addition to the South Zone, nine other stages will be set up in strategic areas of the city to ensure that all cariocas can enjoy their turn in the best style. Among these stages, three will be installed in parks of suburb regions of the city.
In the North Zone, the Park Stage Madureira Amstel, located on Avenida Edson Passos or Rua Soares Caldeira, 115, will have a night of celebrations to the culture of the neighborhood. The opening night will be on account of the Old Guard of the Portela and the GRES Empire Serrano, both schools born in Madureira. Then, they will go to the stage Sombrela, legendary founder of the Fundo de Quintal, next to the Diniz Family, group of musicians and notable figures of the genre. The event will also receive DJ Michell accompanied by the Elite Black collective, who will put everyone to dance and honor the long tradition of the region with black music. To close, the GRES battery Portela will close jobs in the carnaval climate.
In the West Zone, the SESC RJ West Park Stage in Inhoaíba will be taken by the pagoda climate. The audience will be able to follow presentations by Pagodelas group, singer Fróes, Batuke 021 and Leandro Sapucahy, in a sequence of shows that promise to pack the turn with a lot of rhythm and energy, closed by the drums of GRES Station First of Mangueira. The park is located at 6,851 Avenida Cesário de Melo.
Still in the region, the Stage SESC RJ Parque Realengo, in Rua Professor Carlos Wenceslau, 388, will also be a meeting point for samba lovers. The program begins with DJ Nazareth, followed by singer Nego Álvaro. The batucada will be on account of the traditional Ném da Tia Doca and the Sambay group, the first samba wheel facing the LGBT+ movement, ensuring an animated, diverse and dancing night to celebrate the New Year. In addition, GRES Youth Independent, originally from the region, will bring your classic sambas to close with gold key.
