Festival celebrates the 80 years of the São Cristóvão Fair

O Luiz Gonzaga Center of Nordestine Traditions one of the biggest symbols of northeastern culture outside the northeast, will celebrate its 80 years of history with an event that matches its importance to Rio. On 29 and 30 November, the Festival Feira de São Cristóvão

For two days, the audience can enjoy several shows of different musical styles, ranging from forró to pagoda, going through rap, funk and samba. Among the confirmed attractions are Belo, Matuê, Mastruz com Leite, WIU, Pocah and Caju para Baixo, in addition to the Arraiá da Feira, presentations of forró serra foot, battles of repentistas and sets of DJs that promise to animate the public until the end of the night. The gastronomy will also be present at the celebration

In addition to music, the festival will also celebrate the northeastern traditions with emphasis on regional gastronomy, typical crafts and popular dances, reinforcing the role of the São Cristóvão Fair as a meeting point between generations and a living symbol of Brazilian culture. Paid tickets begin to be sold on October 20th, exclusively on the internet.
