Over two decades with samba as a base
In operation since 2004, the Beco do Rato has established itself as one of the main spaces of appreciation of samba in the city. Situated in Rua Joaquim Silva, in Lapa, the bar brings together cariocas and tourists around a musical programme marked by the presence of great names of the genre and new talents.
Throughout its trajectory, Beco has already received important samba artists, such as Jorge Aragon, Moacyr Luz, Tia Surica and Beth Carvalho, as well as names that marked generations, such as Luiz Melodia and Wilson Moreira. More recently, artists of great national projection, such as Diogo Nogueira, Ana Carolina and Thiaguinho, also passed the stage of the house.
