Rio de Janeiro is proud to be the cradle of good music and popular culture! Scattered across various corners of the city, more than 150 samba wheels come to life in public spaces, bringing joy and authenticity to cariocas and visitors.

This survey, made by the Prefeitura do Rio in partnership with the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, highlights the strength of samba as Cultural Heritage. The mapped wheels were evaluated by experts and the Association Rede Carioca de Rodas de Samba, ensuring diversity and quality in each experience.
