Deborah Colker Dance Company celebrates 30 years with the show "Sagração"

The City of the Arts will receive the re-opening of "Sagração", of the Deborah Colker Dance Company, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the company, immaterial heritage of Rio.
The City of the Arts will receive the re-opening of "Sagração", of the Deborah Colker Dance Company, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the company, immaterial heritage of Rio.
After finishing premiere sessions at the Theatro Municipal, in the beginning of 2024, “Sagração” arrives on Friday (19) to the City of Arts for a season of one month.
According to the company, the work was "created from the classic "The Sagração da Primavera", the show adds Brazilian sounds and rhythms to the score of Igor Stravinsky and has the energy, vigor and originality of the language that Deborah Colker has developed since the beginning of the company (1994). In one act, “Sagration” plunges into a reflection on our origin, evolution and continuity on planet Earth.”
