Capital of Samba brings together great names of the genre in Marina da Glória

Rio will again be the stage of one of the largest samba and pagoda festivals in the country. The Capital of Samba 2026 arrives at its fifth edition on 16 and 17 May, occupying the Marina da Glória with a line-up that brings together some of the main names of Brazilian music.

Consolidated on the national calendar, the festival will have two days of intense programming, with concerts by consecrated artists and different experiences for the public.
On Saturday (16), with opening of the gates at 4:00 p.m., there are names such as Alcione, Alexandre Pires, Dilsinho, Pericles and Belo. Already on Sunday (17), from 3pm, the public will be able to follow the shows of Black Race, Rust, Smiling Maroto, Less It is More and the project Samba 90 Degrees, with Netinho de Paula, Chrigor and Márcio Art.
The structure will feature three distinct sectors — Arena Capital, Front Open Beer and Full Bar — offering different ways to enjoy the event. In previous editions, the festival has already received artists such as Xande de Pilares, Thiaguinho and Zeca Pagodinho, consolidating itself as one of the most anticipated meetings of the genre in Brazil.
