Caetano and Bethânia, Anitta and Ivete in the New Year of Rio

Heavy names of Brazilian music were announced for the new year. The Réveillon 2025 River, the largest turn in the world, will have performances by Caetano and Maria Bethânia, Ivete Sangalo and Anitta. In the coming weeks, Riotur will detail the shows and other attractions that will perform on the 12 stages already confirmed by the city.

To this year's turn, Copacabana will receive 20 sound towers and two stages: "Rio" (in front of the hotel Copacabana Palace), to celebrate the diversity of Brazilian music, and the "For Sambar". The 12-minute fireworks show will feature ten ferries at Copacabana and three others at Flamengo. Barra da Tijuca and Recreio dos Bandeirantes will also have fire burning, but on top of the hotels. West Park/Inhoaíba, Realengo Park and Penha will also have fires. The other places where stages are planned to celebrate the arrival of 2025 are: Praia do Flamengo, Praia de Ramos, Parque Madureira, Penha, Ilha do Governador, Ilha de Paquetá, Bangu, Inhoaíba, Praia de Sepetiba and Barra de Guaratiba.

New year in numbers...

In the Réveillon 2024, there were 12 stages and 12 ferries, 10 in Copacabana and 2 in Flamengo, with fireworks burning and brought together five million people, 2.5 million only in the Copacabana Rim - plus 30,000 people on seven cruise ships. The economic movement was R$ 3 billion.
