About Marina da Gloria:
Marina da Glória, located on the edge of Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro, is one of the most iconic and vibrant places in the city. Inaugurated in 1979, as part of the 150-year celebrations of Brazil's independence, the marina is not only an important anchor point for boats, but also a multifunctional space that receives a variety of cultural, sporting and social events.
Integrate Flamengo Park, the Marina da Glória is close to other important monuments such as the Rio Museum of Modern Art, the Monument to the Squares and the Aterro do Flamengo.
The site offers a spectacular view of one of the city's best-known views, with the Pão de Açúcar and the Corcovado in the background, creating a stunning setting that attracts both tourists and residents. It is a popular meeting place for lovers of the sea and for those who seek to enjoy the natural beauties of Rio de Janeiro.
The area around Marina da Glória has leisure and gastronomy options that complement the experience of visitors. Restaurants and bars overlooking the sea offer an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy the landscape after a stroll. The green surroundings of the marina, which includes Flamengo Park, offer an additional space for hiking and outdoor activities.
