Singer and composer Martinho da Vila and singer Mart’nália perform on Saturday (14/11), at 20h, at the Brava Arena Jockey. The gate opening takes place at 6:00. The show is part of the "Father and Daughter" tour, which brings together the two artists for the first time in a complete series of performances in Brazil.
The project celebrates the musical relationship between father and daughter and brings together different generations of samba on the same stage. Martinho da Vila, one of the main names in the history of the genre in Brazil, built a trajectory of more than five decades, while Mart’nália developed her own career as a singer, songwriter and percussionist, influenced from early on by samba wheels and her father’s musical environment.
In the repertoire, artists present successes of their respective careers, as well as moments in which they share vocals. The tour also marks the last great tour of Martinho da Vila through the country.
