Brazilian Jockey Club
Space dedicated to horse racing for over 80 years.
Founded in 1932, the Brazilian Jockey Club is the most traditional stage of turf in the country. The racetrack is integrated into an area of 640,000 m2 and hosts the largest horse racing event in the country, GP Brasil. Built in the first half of the 20th century, the Gávea racetrack stands out for its architecture. The space also has the social club, primary school, school of peat professionals, art gallery, restaurants, and is the scene of several events. In the premises of the Jockey Club it is still possible to find renowned restaurants open to the public, such as Bagatelle, Derby Bar, Prado Grill, Prado & Co., Palaphita Gávea, Restaurant Victoria and Rubaiyat Rio.
