Since 2018, the Orla Sabores Award has celebrated the rich and varied cuisine of the beaches of Rio, recognizing the best dishes and snacks served in the kiosks of the city. From 1st to 31st August 2026, the 9th edition of the festival takes place, bringing together more than 150 kiosks along the Rio waterfront. This year, the event presents the Cup of Sabores, a format inspired by the World Cup, with group phase, mata-mata and grand final. Visitors will be able to experience exclusive recipes, vote for their favorite dishes and help define the finalists of the competition. In addition, the official website offers the Monte seu Rota functionality, which allows you to create custom gastronomic routes by beach or category, making the experience even more practical for those who want to explore the gastronomy of the waterfront.
