The Bridge Challenge is back for another edition of one of Brazil's most traditional races. The event takes place on August 2nd, starting at 6:30 am, at Rua Professor Plinio Leite, in front of the Niemeyer Way, in Niterói, and arriving at Praça Mauá At the Boulevard Olímpico in Rio de Janeiro. The 21 km route crosses the iconic Rio–Niterói Bridge, providing participants with a unique experience that unites sport and one of the most emblematic landscapes in the state.
Recognized by the high level of technical requirement, the test has a limit of 3 hours for completion and requires proof of index for participation. The runners will have support structure along the way, including hydration and recovery points, exclusive areas for athletes and chemical toilets at strategic points.
The Challenge of the Bridge integrates the sports calendar of Rio de Janeiro and brings together runners from different states in a race that combines overcoming, high performance and the opportunity to cross one of the main postcards of the country.
