Forte Café 18

Café 18 do Forte, located in the Fort of Copacabana, has its kitchen under the command of chef Luiz Carlos Lima. Among the novelties of the menu, which bets on an authoral menu, is the Reel Risotto, combination of handmade sausage and sautéed dried meat in the matoga and bacon farofa on top, and the Linguine BlueMoon, served with a hard grano pasta in bluecheese sauce (gongozola and roquefort), grilled shrimp skewer in olive oil and real parmesan.

Traditional house o minced 021 – very traditional carioca dish – stands out and is one of the most requested. Just like the Sea Risotto, with padan money and fresh shrimps sautéed in garlic butter. O breakfast, which can be served for one or two people, is another highlight. With three options available, they can include bread, cold, jams, eggs, cakes, and hot drinks. Waffles, croissants and toast Petrópolis are good options for both morning and afternoon lunch.

The 18th of the Fort still offers special coffees, like Macchiato and Frapuccino, besides the Hario coffee. There's still pinches, such as tapioca data, brusquetas and the unprecedented pastel Inhotim, with filling of dried meat sautéed in butter and canastra cheese cream. In the line of the original products developed by the team of Café 18 do Forte, it is worth trying the ice tea of the house, an exclusive infusion sweetened with peach, seasoned with cinnamon and served extremely cold.
