Special programming in the month of Christmas

Christmas in Rio is the carioca way! Our feast of the Good Old is in the middle of summer, with a sun for each and full of special schedules, so that you, your family and your friends prepare the celebrations of the holidays of the year.

• Christmas in Nice Park

On December 7th there is the opening of Christmas in Goodinho Park, from 10h to 5h. The arrival of the Good Old Man is scheduled for noon. There'll be creative workshops for the kids, musicals and a lot of magic. The scenery full of traditional Christmas elements will be available for visitation until December 26.

• AquaRio celebrate Christmas with magic and environmental awareness!

Santa's dive: On December 21-25, at 1:30 p.m., Santa Claus dives into the big ocean tank, feeding the animals and enchanting the public.
Photos with Santa Claus: On the 11th, 21nd and 22nd of December, take pictures with Good Old Man.
Christmas decoration: The entire aquarium will be decorated with lights, garlands and a large Christmas tree.
Environmental awareness: In addition to the party, AquaRio promotes educational activities on the importance of the oceans.

• Christmas Show - 2nd Station Edition Net Botafogo and Net Station Gávea

In the days leading up to Christmas Eve, December 19-22, the NET Botafogo Station and the NET Gávea Station exhibited classic films from the 1940s and 1960s, as well as films that marked the season with Christmas shows. Check out the full schedule and don't miss it!

Located in Park Jardim Botânico, you will have a special schedule in December to celebrate Christmas with lots of magic, fun and culture. Among the attractions are the fabulous Christmas and Magic Christmas shows. The site is located in Tom Jobim Space - Rua Jardim Botânico, 1008 - Jardim Botânico.

EcoVilla Magic Christmas

With the ballet The Christmas Clock Magic of Dalal Achcar, the event mixes Christmas traditions with enchanted elements, bringing Santa Claus, elves and various interactive activities.

• OSB Christmas Concert brings together generations of musicians in the City of Arts

On December 21, the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra (OSB) and OSB Young people come together for a special Christmas concert in the Great Art City Room. Under the baton of conductor Claudio Cruz, the public can enjoy a varied repertoire, with works by composers such as João Guilherme Ripper, Alexandr Borodin and Ottorino Respighi. This concert marks the end of OSB's 2024 season.

• Candlelight: Christmas Special - Jingle Bells, Hallelujah and more!

A Christmas musical by candlelight! The show will bring together Christmas classics: All I Want for Christmas Is You, by Mariah Carey, Jingle Bell Rock, which was eternalized in the movie Evil Girls, I Wish You a Merry Christmas, Hallelujah, among many others.

• Magic Christmas at BioParque

On 21 and 22 December, Santa Claus will be at the Rio Biopark from 10am to 3pm, interacting with visitors and bringing the magic of the date. On the 21st, the program includes a special workshop, from 13h to 14h, where children can paint a Christmas tree and participate in a children's storytelling, with illustrations from Ziraldo. On December 23, BioParque hosts Sonic and Robotnik characters for the release of the new blue hero film. From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., visitors will be able to take pictures with the characters, participate in a theme ring game and compete for tickets to the film premiere and custom popcorn buckets.
