The Top 500 Bars, a ranking that maps the most relevant bars on the planet, elected three Rio de Janeiro establishments among the best 500 in the world in 2025, consolidating Brazil as one of the highlights in the international scene of cocktails. This year's list, drawn up from the internet data analysis, was released on Monday night (10/11), in a ceremony held in Florence, Italy.
The Brazilian houses present in the ranking stand out not only because of the technique and creativity, but also because they bring elements of Brazil, either through the use of native ingredients, copyrights of drinks or environments that value local cultures.
Liz Cocktails & Co, located at Leblon, won the 354th ranking position. The bar has an authorial letter signed by mixologist Tai Barbin, reference in creativity and brazil. Elena at Jardim Botânico reached 426th place. Installed in a big house in the Horto, the space features cocktail shop signed by Alex Mesquita, with romantic atmosphere and focus on refined techniques. Our Ipanema, in Ipanema, is in the 479th position, with a proposal that combines relaxed atmosphere to a well executed cocktail shop.
