See Rio Eat & Drink reveals the best flavors in the city in 2025

The Carioca gastronomy was the protagonist in the 2025 edition of the Veja Rio Eat & Drink Award. In its 29th edition, the awards took place on the night of November 21, at the Copacabana Palace, and highlighted the best bars and restaurants in Rio in more than 30 categories.

In category Food, Cirandaia took the best, overcoming the Zazá Bistro Café and So lo. In Juices, the prize went to the Bibi Juices, ahead of BB Snacks and Polys Juices. O Grimas Brunch & Bar was elected the best brunch of the city, competing with Emporium Garden and So lo. In category Bread, the highlight of the year was the Slow Bakery, who fought with Talho Capixaba and Araucaria Panes. O Best chocolate cake was prepared by Iraja Redux Beat Bel Truffles and Da Roberta. The prize of Best ice cream you got the Momo Gelato, ahead of Bacio di Latte and Borelli, while the Best burger was the Bal Clan, who competed with Incarnate and TT Burger.

Winners in Bars

O Cachambeer has been elected Best cup in town, running with Real Chopp and Old Adonis, while the Lisbot received the award of best wine bar, competing with Belisco and Virtuous.
