Nazaré Giants back to Leblon beach for third edition

One of the major events of the mode of tow-in the world returns to Brazil between the months of august and october, with open waiting window for the ideal swell. The third edition of the Nazaré Giants will be held at the Posto 12 of Leblon Beach, at the time of Plaza Zózimo Barroso do Amaral. The public will be able to closely follow big names of surf worldwide in the tow-in mode. The awards include a better pair, in addition to the best individual athletes — male and female.

Created in 2018 in Nazaré, Portugal, the event was consolidated as one of the biggest references of big-wave surfing in the world, attracting elite athletes and global attention. In 2022, the beach of the Leblon was crowded to watch the first edition of the show, which had Lucas Chumbo as a highlight. The surfer won alongside Eric Rebiere and was also a male individual champion. Michelle des Boullions was the female winner. In 2023, Lead and Michelle became two champions of their respective modalities.
