The Avenida Atlântica will be the stage, on 23 November (Sunday), from 9 am, another edition of the traditional Pride Stop LGBTI+ of Rio!
This year, the event reaches its 30th edition, celebrating the theme “30 years making history: of the first struggles for the right to exist to build sustainable futures”.
Recognized as one of the greatest manifestations for the diversity of Latin America, Parada reaffirms Rio's commitment to inclusion, respect and freedom to be.
The singer and activist Daniela Mercury will be one of the great attractions of the event, performing in the electric trio of a gay relationship app, which premieres at Parada Rio. According to Agência Brasil, the same trio will also receive presentations from artists who represent different experiences within the community LGBTI+: Aretuza Lov, Romero Ferro, Traemme, Kako and Eddylene Dirty Water. Among the musical attractions are the DJs Thales Sabino (disco and tribal), Vini Benincasa + Paranoia (pop and funk) and Clementaum (bat-leque).
This year, the theme reinforces belonging, inviting the community to participate in the history of the movement. The Rainbow Group, organizer of the event, promotes an interactive campaign on social networks, where the public can send photos of past editions. The selected images will be part of large mosaics that will integrate the official communication of the Parada, strengthening the connection with the participants.
More than a party, Parada is an act of affirmation, citizenship and sustainability, which values diversity and defends fundamental rights. Pride Week will also have cultural and citizenship actions, reaffirming the commitment to a fairer, more inclusive and respectful future for all people.
