Xande de Pilares continues to celebrate the consecrated work of Caetano Veloso, with the tour Xande Canta Caetano. On April 26, the Rio public will be able to pay this exciting tribute in Vivo Rio. The show has earned praise from both the audience and critics, with songs from the same name album, released in August 2023.
In the repertoire, Xande interprets hits such as "Gent", "Alegria, Joy", "Love", "Anything", "Tigresa", "Light of the Sun", "Lua de São Jorge" and "Very Romantic". The songs gain a new identity through the voice of Xande, under the artistic direction of Regina Casé and the musical direction of Pretinho da Serrinha.
The album is a great success, with over 35 million reproductions on digital platforms, and has recently won numerous awards, such as the Grammy Latin for Best Samba Album/Pagode, and stands out as the only Brazilian nominated in the Album of the Year category.
