The stage Recreio dos Bandeirantes (posto 12) of the Water Marathon Without Borders Swimming Circuit (MASF) will take place on April 13 (Sunday), at sea, near Pedra do Pontal, no Recreio dos Bandeirantes. The event will gather about 350 athletes, who will compete in three different courses: 500m, 1250m and 2500m. Focused on amateur swimmers over the age of 18, the event will have the participation of competitors from various regions of Brazil, as well as athletes from Uruguay and the United States, who seek to overcome their limits on one of the most beautiful beaches in Rio de Janeiro.
The event is part of an annual circuit consisting of four stages, which form the ranking of the Circuit MASF. More than a competition, the aim of the circuit is to promote the union of the aquatic community, valuing sport as a health and citizenship tool.
