On October 10 (Saturday), the 14th edition of the event takes place “Wine & Tastes of Portugal“ , at AABB Leblon/Lagoa. The meeting brings together more than 50 Portuguese producers and hundreds of labels from different regions of the country. With tasting open to the public, the program presents wines still little known in the Brazilian market and brings together typical Portuguese gastronomy, live music and business opportunities.
Among the exhibitors are centenary wineries and more recent production projects, with wines from regions such as Lisbon, Tagus, Dão, Bairrada, Trás-os-Montes, Douro, Vinho Verde and Alentejo. The program includes labels from producers such as Quinta do Vale Meão, Secret Spot Wines, Casa Cadaval, Quinta do Casal Branco, Boas Quintas and Wine Stone.
In addition to tasting wines, the event will have Portuguese gastronomy, with traditional snacks, cheeses, sausages, olive oils and conventual sweets. The programming also provides an exclusive area for professionals buying the sector, who may have direct contact with producers and know business opportunities. Tasting for the general public is carried out by purchasing the official cup of the event, while accredited professionals have free access to the cup.
