Week S with Iza and Charm Ball of the Madureira Viaduct on Praça Mauá

On May 17, the Praça Mauá, in the Center, will be the stage of Week S, a great free action promoted by Sesc RJ, Senac RJ and Fecomércio RJ. The great highlight of the program will be the free show of the singer Iza, preceded by the traditional Ball Charm of the Viaduct of Madureira, with dancers and all the gill that is rhythm mark. Who goes to the Week S can experience practical activities of composting, urban planting and know the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, in addition to visiting the exhibition “Guide of Folia: Anti-racist Ways”, which values samba as heritage and resistance.

In a space dedicated to the immersive experience the participant will have the opportunity to experience an eyeglass of virtual reality, its applications and diverse games. The young and creative audience will have the opportunity to learn, in workshops, the “Top tips to viralize reels on social networks” or “The first steps to undertake in any area”. At Nerd Arena, it will be possible to interact with several board games that explore science, technology and strategy, providing moments of learning and fun. The Mobile Unit BiblioSesc – library on wheels of Sesc – will park in the square and offer reading mediations and storytelling, focusing on the formation of readers. In the Exercises, participants may engage with digital games that combine physical activity and cognitive stimulation, by capturing body movements.

There will be room to take care of the body, mind and look, with quick massage, makeup and podal reflexology. Anyone with pets can provide pets with the care of PET Mobile, an itinerant unit equipped to offer free animal aesthetic services. In the interactive circuit of the health area, visitors will be able to perform practices such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation in realistic simulation mannequins, in addition to knowing the “Kit Simulator of the Elderly”, which reproduces physical limitations to sensitize the public about aging.

The program also includes actions of inclusion and social responsibility, such as the Plural Women project, which offers welcoming services on the cycle of violence, and Tourism, with experiences of hospitality and immersion in the tourist attractions of the region. Groups of elderly, young apprentices and students from partner institutions will also participate in the experience, reinforcing the democratic nature of the initiative. Street performers, circus performances, poetic experiences and the walking tour of the Small Africa region are part of the itinerant agenda of the event.
