O Samba's Earthling receives, on 6 February (Friday), from 5 pm, the VII Passive Ball and the 5th APASB National Meeting. Designed by Milton Cunha and promoted by the association, with the support of Riotur and Prefeitura do Rio, the event celebrates dance as a pillar of the Carnaval, gathering passists from various schools.
The edition honors Soninha Capeta, from Beija-Flor, and will have choreographed performances, samba wheels and collective participations, with emphasis on schools such as Beija-Flor, Mangueira, Grande Rio, Imperatriz, Vila Isabel, Mocidade e Paraíso do Tuiuti, in addition to the PCD Wing.
