The French pianist Vanessa Wagner is the next attraction of the series The Globe/Dellarte International Concerts. Recognized for her technical excellence and interpretations that transit between the classical repertoire and contemporary music, the artist presents herself on Monday, August 17th, at 19h, in the Theatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro.
Winner of the 1999 Victoire de la Musique award, Vanessa Wagner is one of the leading artists of the French music scene. Throughout his career, he built a trajectory marked by the interpretation of great composers and the exploration of new possibilities for the piano, especially related to minimalist music.
For the concert in Rio, the pianist presents a program that brings together two composers separated for almost three centuries. The presentation brings together nine piano studies by Philip Glass and seven preludes taken from Johann Sebastian Bach's "The Tempered Cravo".
