The show revisits the multiple lives of Tiresias, the blind fortune teller whose figure goes through 25 centuries of literature. On the scene, the character takes various forms and dialogues with both the priestess of Delphi and the audience, revealing unexpected aspects of his personality. The montage also honors the fragility of the writer, who saw in the loss of vision an impulse to understand eternity — the central idea of the monologue. Camilleri's last desire to be reunited a hundred years later resurfaces in the centenary of his birth as a symbolic prophecy, inviting the public to listen again.
