The composer and violinist Guinga receives the singer and composer Fátima Guedes for two presentations in the project “Third in the Ipanema”, on September 1st and 8th, at 20h, at the Municipal Theatre Ipanema Rubens Corrêa, in the South Zone of Rio. The shows mark the reunion of the two artists on stage after almost ten years.
Recognized as one of the main interpreters and admirers of Guinga's work, Fátima Guedes recorded several compositions of the musician since the 1990s. The partnership between the two gained prominence in the repertoire of the performances, which gather songs from different moments of the composer's career.
Alongside the guitar, Guinga presents recent works and songs composed in partnership with names such as Aldir Blanc and Paulo César Pinheiro. Among the songs included are “Bolero de Satan”, “Lady”, “Passeira”, “Cá de Panela”, “Seven Stars” and “Vô Alfredo”.
