The album “Elis & Tom”, one of the landmarks of Brazilian music, is 50 years old in 2025 and will be celebrated with a special show at Teatro Casa Grande, on 23 October. The tribute will bring together Daniel Jobim, grandson of Tom Jobim, and singer Kell Smith, in a performance that revisits the tracks of the historical album recorded by Elis Regina and Tom Jobim in 1974.
Recorded in Los Angeles, the album “Elis & Tom” marked the union of two national music references and became one of the most important records of MPB. Half a century later, the work gained new life on stage with Daniel and Kell, two artists from different generations united by the admiration and influence of the original interpreters.
