This Sunday, the Aterro do Flamengo will host another edition of the Triathlon State Championship, bringing together high-performance athletes in one of the most iconic scenarios in Rio.
This Sunday, the Aterro do Flamengo will host another edition of the Triathlon State Championship, bringing together high-performance athletes in one of the most iconic scenarios in Rio.
The competition will be held at Flamengo Beach, near the Marina da Glória, and promises a show of overcoming and resistance, having as background landscapes such as Guanabara Bay, Cristo Redentor and Pão de Açúcar.
The race is developed between the Aterro and the vicinity of the New Rio Highway, with two formats: the Sprint, with a lap of 750 meters, and the Endurance, with two turns of 850 meters, totaling 1,700 meters of swimming. Then, the athletes move on to the cycling and running courses, completing the typical challenge of the sport.
