Between January 22nd and February 1st, the Carlos Gomes Theatre, receives the show “Tom na Fazenda”, a drama that plunges into topics such as silence, veiled violence and conservative family structures.
In the plot, Tom travels to a farm in the country for his boyfriend's funeral. Upon arriving at the scene, he faced a hostile reality: the boy's mother was completely unaware of the child's sexual orientation, while his brother, a rustic and aggressive man, imposed on Tom the pact of silence on the nature of the relationship between the two. Trapped in this forced agreement, the protagonist begins to experience an oppressive atmosphere, in which lies and threats intertwine.
