Set in New York in the 1990s, the story accompanies Jon, a young composer about to complete his dream of writing a great musical. While working as a waiter and preparing to present his work to an audience of Broadway experts, he faces emotional pressures from all sides: his girlfriend Susan, who wants a life outside the city, and his best friend Michael, who opts for stability in a corporate job. Between doubts and demands, Jon finds himself facing a crossroads: is it worthwhile to keep dreaming?
