The actress and writer Elisa Lucinda premieres the show “The Principle of the World”, on the 7th to 30th November at the Teatro Prio, at the Jockey Club, at the Leblon. The montage is a creation of the Company of the Other, formed by Lucinda and director Geovana Pires, who also signs the dramaturgy in partnership with the actress.
Starting from the poetic provocation that “the first human creature was made by a black woman”, the play proposes a sensitive and symbolic journey on the matriarchy as origin and path to a culture of peace. The show also marks the professional debut of actor Gabriel Demarchi, who also performs the African harp kamale ngoni on stage, expanding the ritualistic and sound character of the narrative.
