The Vannucci Theatre, in the Shopping of Gávea, receives the play The Wisdom of Parents, a romantic comedy that reflects on beginnings, maturing and the possibilities of love after a whole shared life. The assembly is on display until December 14.
Written especially for friends and protagonists Natália do Vale and Herson Capri, the story follows a couple who, after 35 years of apparently stable and happy marriage, decides to separate. Over the next ten years, each tries to rebuild his life, experience new paths and learn to deal with the absence of the other.
While reinventing themselves, the characters resort to memories and advice inherited from their parents — symbols of lasting marriages that serve as an affective guide in this trajectory. Between meetings, disagreements and the rediscovery of love in maturity, the play deals with humor and delicacy of themes such as etharism, personal reinvention and the search for the meaning of human relations.
