The show “The Biker in the Globe of Death” arrives at the stage of the Teatro Dusta, in Botafogo, between September 6 and October 26. The piece is part of a central question: what can lead a peaceful man, contrary to conflict, to commit an extreme act of violence?
The narrative follows Antonio, a rational and sensible mathematician who, on a common afternoon, sees his life transformed by engaging in a violent episode during lunch in a bar. While he reports to the public with a wealth of details, the character also leads reflections on the different forms of violence present in life in society.
The monologue, written and interpreted by Eduardo Moscovis, raises debates about whether it is possible to resist violence or whether individuals end up inevitably submitted to it.
