Attention, Green nation and Rosa! The traditional Mangueira Summer Show is coming! On 19 and 20 February, Vivo Rio will be the scene of the celebration of the plot of the next carnaval of the association: "To the Flower of the Earth - In the River of Negritude between Dores and Passions", authored by the carnivalesco Sidnei France.
In this edition, the cast will have great names of Brazilian music, such as Alcione, Chico Buarque, João Bosco, Leci Brandão, Mariene de Castro, Pretinho da Serrinha and Xande de Pilares. In addition, there will be the special participation of the Old Musical Guard of Mangueira, the interpreters Marquinhos Art'Samba and Dowglas Diniz, along with the drums of "Station First.
