Charity Show on Live Rio brings together great artists to raise funds for Rio Grande do Sul
Paula Toller, Ney Matogrosso, Rogério Flausino, Milton Guedes, Barão Vermelho, Fernanda Abreu, George Israel, Leo Jaime, and Filipe Catto and Adriana Calcanhotto, as well as Liminha, as a special participation, will meet on 22 May (Wednesday), in Vivo Rio for a special show for the benefit of victims of intense rains and floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
The event will be presented by Pedro Bial and the donations of the entire sale of tickets will be directed to the platform ParaWhoDonate – SOS Rains RS, which brings together organizations such as GRAD, Action of Citizenship and Cufa, among others. The idea of the project came from the gaucha Fernanda Favero, manager of Paula Toller, and Bia Teixeira de Mello. Faced with the whole situation experienced by the residents of the affected cities, they felt that they could contribute, organize and encourage other artists to participate in the show.
The setlist of the show, with the musical direction of Rodrigo Vidal, will contemplate songs already known from the repertoire of each artist. The band is formed by musicians Gustavo Camardella (voice and guitar), Pedro Dias (bass), Ge Fonseca (keyboard) and Adal Fonseca (drums).
In addition to the presentations, the night will also feature video testimony from some Brazilian artists.
