On May 9th (Friday), the stage of Urca Die will be taken by the sound of the Smiling Maroto, from 10:00 pm. The pagoda group, formed in 1997 in Grajaú, was born as a joke and consolidated as one of the biggest names of the genre in Brazil. With its characteristic of "Different Pagodinho", the Maroto Smile conquered the heart of fans of different styles and social classes, bringing samba and pagoda to everyone.
With more than 23 years of career, the band collects nine Gold Discs, three Platinum DVDs and two Golden DVDs, as well as having sold over a million records. Always innovating, the Maroto Smile closed heavy partnerships with great artists such as Ludmilla, Michel Teló, Ivete Sangalo, Anitta, Dilsinho, Thiaguinho, Gusttavo Lima, among others. Its trajectory is marked by many successes that remain in the hearts of fans.
During the show, the audience will be able to hear all of the band's great hits, such as "50 Times", "Other Ideals", "Dependente", "Signais", "So You Kill Daddy", "1 Metro and 65", "Cold War" and "Future Promised". With a repertoire filled with songs that marked the history of the pagoda, this show will be unforgettable!
