All Thursday it is! O Samba Independent of Good Customs brings weekly to the Foundry Progress the best of samba for the crowd to celebrate and have fun, on the Arena stage of the House of All Tribes. The Rodas de Samba are a popular black tradition inherited from the time of the lundu that today we can identify in the daily life of all cariocas and tourists. Radicados na Praça Tiradentes, in the Center, under the blessing of those who lived there, on 23 April 2015, the Samba Independento dos Bons Costumes was born, a wheel of plural and multicultural samba that takes place every Thursday, in the Progress Funding.
With a repertoire that transits through classical sambas, pagodas, instrumental and regional songs, besides the authors, SIBC has - throughout its eight years of existence - increasingly gaining its space in the Rio musical scene. Samba Independento dos Bons Costumes brings in its musicality all the strength, energy and mysticity of samba, added to other musical references present in Brazilian culture, having as primary factor for its identity formation the mixture of its musicians components, coming from different schools and regions of the city.
