Show “Society of Tiredness” at the Angel Vianna Theatre

Inspired by the homonymous book by the philosopher Byung-Chul Han, the show “Society of Tiredness” arrives at the Angel Vianna Theatre, in the Choreographic Center of Rio de Janeiro City, in a season from 6 to 29 March.

The new work of the Idea Company proposes a scenic reflection, through dance, on the so-called “performance society”, marked by constant acceleration, anxiety and exhaustion. On the scene, the cast investigates the contemporary relationship with time and invites the public to slow down and experience a sensory and critical experience. The performances take place on Fridays and Saturdays, at 7pm, and Sundays, at 6pm. Saturday sessions feature translation in Libras and audio description, as well as chatting at the end.
