Show City and Colour
Vivo Rio · Historical record of the city
Canadian singer and composer Dallas Green performs at Vivo Rio in June, with the tour of the new album “The Love Still Held Me Near”.
City and Colour is the pseudonym of Canadian singer and songwriter Dallas Green, who is also guitarist, vocalist and one of the founders of the celebrated post-hardcore band Alexisonfire.
In nearly two decades of his career, he released seven studio albums, performed numerous world tours with festival tickets such as Lollapalooza and Ohana (of Pearl Jam leader Eddie Vedder) and won four JUNO awards, awarded by the Canadian Academy of Arts and Phonographic Sciences, including “Best Album” and “Compositor of the Year”. Live, City and Colour gains more body with a varied formation of guest musicians who form a superband, further valuing the melodic songs and folk elements that are the brand of the project.
