The Bloc of Sergeant Pimenta, known for uniting the repertoire of the Beatles to the rhythm of the Carnaval carioca, returns to the stages of Rio on November 5th, Wednesday, with a special show at the Carlos Gomes Theatre, in the Center.
In the repertoire, the group presents rereadings that cross the Beatles' universe with Elis' unmistakable style, in a fusion between British pop, MPB and carnival beat.
The show celebrates the talent and intensity of Elis Regina, one of the greatest voices of Brazilian music, in a format that mixes tribute and sound experimentation. The performance will feature band, drums and the participation of the singer Marï Jascà, special guest of the night.
