The Samba Museum celebrates its first 25 years with a show that brings together great names of Brazilian music on the stage of the Theatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro. The presentation takes place on August 5, at 20h, celebrating the trajectory of the institution and honoring the samba matrices and artists who preserve this cultural heritage.
The program brings together a cast formed by Alcione, Diogo Nogueira, Dudu Nobre, Teresa Cristina, Sandra de Sá, Arlindinho, Ivo Meirelles, Mumuzinho, Karinah, the Matriarcas do Samba, the Old Guard of Portela and Juliane Souza. The show proposes meetings between different generations of interpreters and composers who helped build samba history in Rio de Janeiro.
The musical direction is signed by Paulão 7 Strings, while the scenography and artistic direction are in charge of Gringo Cardia.
