On July 26th (Saturday), singer Marcos Sacramento commands the Samba of the Sacramento Museum of Modern Art (MAM)Starting at 5 p.m., celebrating his 65th birthday.
Samba do Sacramento is a samba wheel created in March 2024 by Marcos Sacramento, singer and composer with more than 40 years of career. The project appeared in Rua do Mercado, in the Center of Rio, and quickly conquered the Rio public, gathering thousands of people in their monthly editions. The proposal is to offer an experience that combines tradition and modernity, with repertoire that includes samba classics, copyright compositions and rereadings of artists such as Caetano Veloso and Alcione.
