The samba wheels Samba da Volta and Samba de Caboclo will meet at the Flying Circus on Saturday (05/09). The program brings together different strands of the genre on a night that will also have the participation of DJ Léo Black, responsible for the music at intervals.
Created on the streets in 2021, the Samba da Volta gained projection by occupying different spaces of the city and conquering a legion of fans. Formed by musicians from different regions of Rio de Janeiro, the wheel has as main reference the Fundo de Quintal Group and values samba as one of the main manifestations of Brazilian music.
On the other hand, the Samba de Caboclo presents a cultural and spiritual manifestation that combines the samba from the roots to the corners of the terreiro. The presentation celebrates the Caboclos and the Afro-Brazilian ancestry through percussion, singing and dance.
