At the end of January, the Clube do Samba was officially recognized as intangible cultural heritage by the municipality of Rio. To celebrate this historic achievement, the traditional Samba Club Ball is back and will be held on February 27, Thursday, in Vivo Rio. The event promises to relive the spirit of the iconic club dances, gathering different generations on a special night of music and revelry. The program includes a special show by Diogo Nogueira, as well as the participation of the traditional Black Ball Cordão and guests. The project was founded by João Nogueira, Diogo's father, for the preservation of the root samba.
